Meridian Centre

The Meridian Centre is Niagara’s newest home for entertainment.

The Centre, which officially opened its doors in October 2014, is home to the Niagara IceDogs. In addition to hockey, the venue can host an array of events including concerts, family shows, sporting events, entertainment spectacles and other community based events. The Centre can also host private receptions from gala dinners to conferences, tradeshows and AGMs. Groups from 50-1,000 can be accommodated.

Opening its doors in 2015, The New Performing Arts Centre will be a 95,000 square foot academic and cultural complex comprised of four state-of-the-art performance venues. This Diamond + Schmitt designed facility is located in the heart of downtown St. Catharines, on the corner of Carlisle and St. Paul streets, adjacent to the Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts.

The New Performing Arts Centre is a vital component in the renaissance of St. Catharines, serving as the catalyst in thoroughly modernizing the area and reinforcing the brilliance of Niagara Region’s diverse cultural cluster.
